MAI prepared and led a delegation of ocean technology firms from the Atlantic region of Canada – Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick – to Shanghai, China to participate in Oceanology International China 2013. In Atlantic Canada, ocean technologies are one of the region’s largest advanced technology industries, with high levels of research, development and innovation, a highly skilled labor force, and an export focus. The MAI team conducted market research, generated corporate profiles, researched potential Chinese partners and arranged B2B meetings at the trade event.
